Introducing the latest in home comfort technology, with the 4th Generation MRCOOL DIY 12K BTU, 22.50 SEER2 Ductless Heat Pump System. This powerful single-zone system has the capability of heating and cooling an area up to 500 sq. ft. It comes complete with a 12K condenser, 12K air handler, and a 25 ft. line set pre-charged with R-410A refrigerant. The line set also has quick connectors which require no special tools, equipment, or training to install. The MRCOOL DIY system also includes many features that make it stand out among its competitors. The first of which is its ability to achieve an outstanding 22.50 SEER2 efficiency rating allowing it to be Energy Star certified.

This system has many operating modes to select from to suit the needs of the user, including HEAT, COOL, DRY (dehumidification), and SLEEP. It also has the Follow Me function that adjusts the temperature of the room based on the temperature being read by the hand-held remote control. The DIY features the convenience of being able to operate its modes and functions with your smartphone by using the Smart HVAC app. The MRCOOL mini split is the only system on the market to offer a limited lifetime compressor warranty.

MRCOOL returns must be requested within 30 days of your delivery date. We are unable to process returns submitted after this period. Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, including the box and pallet, to qualify for a return.

Cool for the summer

I found the installation of the unit to be simple and straightforward. It took my son and myself about 12 hours over 2 days to complete. I recommend pulling single strand wires vs bundled wire through 3/4โ€ flex. At lease 2 hours pulling wire.
The unit works great and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

We did our research and compared this to other systems. For overall product specifications, warranty and price it was a no brainer. We purchased the 12k BTU. This system stacks up to the ridiculously higher priced systems. Incredibly easy to install directions. My husband did most of it himself. It works great, very pleased with product, install and delivery.

Great Unit

I just finished the installation of the DIY-12-HP unit. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Line connections worked like a charm and there were no leaks! My only wish is that I could have gotten a shorter line set than 25 feet. I had a lot left over. Maybe it was ther on a different model and I didn't see it. Otherwise, it's cooling like it should and I hope it will last a long time.
